It's now up to you!
Following the 50the anniversary celebration and the great time we had, it appeared that many wanted to hold a 53rd celebration as well. A small group of us got together back in March to start looking at potential sites that might be used for the 53rd. Our list included 14 potential sites around the country, most of which had VW car shows associated with them and 3 that would include much larger general car shows (click here to see the original list). We researched each of them, shared our findings, and then independently selected the top 4 we thought would best be suited for such a celebration.
We understand that these might not be at the top of your list, and that's OK. But in order to try and reach a consensus so that advanced planning such as hotel rooms, entertainment, etc., could begin, we felt it necessary to start here, We are now asking you, Herbie owners and fans who would like to attend, to help us decide which of the 4 venues you would like to see. We need to do this as quickly as possible so we have set a date of August 30th, 2020 as the date when your choice is to be made known and the location announced to the world. Please take some time to look over the available information and give us your input. Together, this should be the best event ever!
